Glory Days Sports League – General Rulebook
This rulebook applies to all sports in the Glory Days Sports League. Each sport has its own specific rules, but the following policies and standards apply league-wide.
Player Eligibility & Registration
• All players must:
• Register online before participating
• Sign a waiver of liability
• Pay the registration fee in full
• Team captains are responsible for verifying that all players on their roster meet the eligibility requirements.
• Rosters lock when registration ends for each season unless approved by league administrators.
1. Player Eligibility: All players must be 18 years or older to participate. Some sports may have 21+ age requirements based on venue rules.
2. Team Rosters: All teams must submit a complete roster before the first game. Players not on the official roster are ineligible to play.
3. Substitution Rules: Substitution rules will be notated in the Sport-Specific Rules.
4. Sportsmanship: All participants are expected to treat each other with respect. Any form of unsportsmanlike conduct, including fighting, aggressive behavior, or foul language, may result in suspension or expulsion from the league.
5. Alcohol Policy: No outside alcohol is permitted on or near the playing fields. Alcohol may only be consumed if it is purchased directly from the venue and only by participants or spectators who are 21 years of age or older. Violation of this rule may result in removal from the league without refund.
6. Weather Policy: Games may be canceled due to inclement weather. In the event of a cancellation, players will be notified by email or text. Make-up games may be scheduled at the discretion of the league.
7. Injuries: All injuries must be reported to league staff immediately. Players participate at their own risk and must sign a waiver before participating.
8. Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued after registration unless the league is canceled.
9. Forfeits: A team that does not show up within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time will forfeit the game. Multiple forfeits may result in removal from the league.
10. Communication: Teams must designate a captain who will be the main point of contact for all league-related communication.
11. Rule Enforcement: The league commissioner and staff reserve the right to enforce all rules and interpret them in the spirit of fair play and community engagement. For specific rules per sport, please see each sport’s dedicated rulebook tab.
Team Composition & Gender Policies
Each sport has its own coed rules (see sport-specific pages), but the following apply league-wide:
• All coed sports require a minimum number of female players on the roster and on the field at all times.
• Playing with fewer than the required number of female players results in penalties or forfeits (as outlined in each sport’s rulebook).
• Any player participating in a game must be listed on the official team roster and must have registered and signed the waiver.
Illegal / Unregistered Players
• First offense: The team forfeits the game and receives a formal warning.
• Second offense: The team is subject to suspension or removal from the league with no refund.
Conduct & Sportsmanship
We are a social and recreational league built around respect, fun, and community.
• Zero tolerance for:

Game Time & Forfeit Rules
• Games must start on time. There is a 5-minute grace period for teams running late, but after that, a forfeit may be declared.
• Teams must meet the minimum player and coed requirements by game start or risk forfeiture.
• A forfeited game will be recorded as a loss and may result in removal from playoffs.

• If an issue cannot be resolved during the game, it should be:
• Documented by both captains
• Reported to league administrators within 24 hours
